DE QUEEN, Ark.—Charles Franklyn Loftin, 68, of Little River County, Ark., died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, in Ashdown, Ark. Mr. Loftin was born April 21, 1950, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a retired Major with the Army and a member of Little River Country Club Board of Directors and First Baptist Church, Lockesburg, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Ann Lee Loftin; one son, Charles Jr. of Tulsa, Okla.; one brother and sister-in-law, William David and Charlotte Loftin of Enterprise, Ala.; one sister and brother-in-law, Sissy and Jimmy Slabaugh of Valliant, Okla.; one granddaughter, Renay of Tulsa; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Oddfellows Cemetery, Lockesburg, with Roy Conatser officiating. Burial with military honors will be under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
