HOPE, Ark.—Steven Conrad Allen, 62, of Hope died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, in a local hospital. Mr. Allen was born March 30, 1956, in Houston. He was a retired cable splicer with Southwestern Bell and attended New Salem Baptist Church, Prescott, Ark. He was preceded in death by one son, Casey Conrad Allen. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Samantha and Tony Patterson of Hope, Brittney and Kenneth Johnston of Sutton, Ark., and Caitlin and Jeremy Williams of Bodcaw, Ark.; one niece, Sarah Morgan; seven grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Union Baptist Church with Joe Brown and Terry Evans officiating under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Online registration is at brazzelfuneralhomes.com.
