PRESCOTT, Ark.—Gary L. Hicks, 68, of Caney, Ark., died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, in Little Rock. Mr. Hicks was born Oct. 16, 1950, in Prescott. He was a truck driver with Shuttles Corp. and attended Morris Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Loretta Hicks of Caney; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary H. and Melissa Hicks of Caney, Terry and Kristie Hicks of Arkadelphia, Ark., and Brian Herring of Blevins, Ark.; two daughters, Anita Norman of Genoa, Ark., and Renee Dixon of Texarkana; one brother, Paul Hicks; one sister, Sandy Brown of Arkadelphia; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Morris Baptist Church with James Dayle Glass officiating. Burial will be in Caney Cemetery under direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.
