MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—Harold W. Davis, 83, of Texarkana died Monday, Dec. 24, 2018, in Texarkana. Mr. Davis was born July 24, 1935, in Cookville, Texas. He was retired from Lone Star Steel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Davis. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lynn Coats; one nephew and spouse, Ben and Rosie Garretson of New Boston, Texas; one niece, Linda Bobwell of Palestine, Texas; two greatnieces, Rosemary Phillips of Atlanta, Texas, and Kathy Garcia of Corpus Christi, Texas; one greatnephew and spouse, Michael and Sara Garretson of New Boston; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Cooper's Chapel Cemetery with Matthew Neese officiating. Burial will be under direction of Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home.
