LINDEN, Texas—David Ray Hargis, 56, of Linden died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018, at his home. Mr. Hargis was born Oct. 18, 1962, in Texarkana, Texas. Survivors include one son, Michael Hargis of Paris, Texas; his mother, Shirley Ann Brooks of Paris; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Debra Hudgins of Broken Bow, Okla., and Denishia and Steve Gentry of Paris; four grandchildren, AnaLee Hargis, Aiden Hargis, Luther Hargis and Aurora Hargis; one uncle, Don Hargis; two nieces; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home with Perry Hart officiating. Burial will be in Caves Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
