IRENE STROUD

Irene Stroud, 87, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, in California. Mrs. Stroud was born July 18, 1931, in Kansas City, Mo. She was an Air Force veteran. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Stroud; and one son Michael Stroud. Survivors include one daughter, Kathleen Brookes of Albuquerque, N.M.; one daughter-in-law, Trisha Stroud; two sisters, Doris Peak of Inglewood, Calif., and Aileen McComas of Blue Springs, Mo.; four grandchildren, Jay Ross, Treva Watters, Lily Stroud and Matthew Ross; two great-grandchildren, Cole Ross and Cade Ross; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. today at Chapelwood Funeral Home with H.T. Burrow officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
