MITCHELL KITCHINGS
IDABEL, Okla.—Mitchell Kitchings, 92, formerly of Idabel died Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, in Pearland, Texas.
Mr. Kitchings was born June 4, 1925, in Grand Bayou, La. He was a retired oilfield toolpusher, former sheriff's deputy, former owner of a wrecker business and service station and Mountain Cabains, Broken Bow, Okla., a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Blind Veterans and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Kitchings.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Kitchings of Pearland, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Gary Brock of Idabel; one stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Debbie and Frank Klein of Houston; one grandson, Todd Gilbert of Stillwater, Okla.; one granddaughter, Chanta Moran of Idabel; one stepgrandson, Scott Klein of The Colony, Texas; two stepgranddaughters, Shelly Lesco of Pearland and Samantha Capehart of Corsicana, Texas; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at White Family Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be in Denison Cemetery.
