Riva Sperry

Riva Batchelor Sperry, 92, of Pineville, La., died Friday, Feb. 9, 2018. Mrs. Sperry was born July 7, 1925, in Jefferson, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of Westside Church of Christ, Texarkana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Sperry; and one daughter, Jan Sperry Schupp. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Nadara Sperry; one daughter and two sons-in-law, Shaula Sperry and Edward Kovacs and Alvin Schupp; one sister-in-law, Marie Vollmer; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Westside Church of Christ. Arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.
