CLIFFORD THORNTON

HOPE, Ark.—Clifford Thornton Jr., 63, of Fulton, Ark., died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, in his Arlington, Texas, home. Mr. Thornton was born on Jan. 30, 1955. He was preceded in death by one grandson. Survivors include one son, Gregory Brunson of Kathleen, Ga.; two daughters, Octavia Thornton-Jenkins, of Arlington, Texas, and Jakeli Thornton of Perry, Ga.; two brothers, Charles Thornton of Omaha, Neb., and Kenneth Thornton of Hope; five sisters, Barbara Jackson of Arlington, Linda Jackson of Modesto, Calif., and Ruth Mixon, Kathy Johnson and Debra Clark of Hope; seven grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Charity Baptist Church, Fulton. Burial will be in Flowers Cemetery under the direction of Hicks Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
