ASHDOWN, Ark.—Edward Ardwin, 84, of Ashdown died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018. Mr. Ardwin was born Dec. 7, 1933, in Ashdown. He was an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Joan Ardwin of Ashdown; two sons, Michael Ardwin and Mark Ardwin of Ashdown; one daughter, Joni Chilcoat of Ashdown; two brothers, Sampson Ardwin and John Ardwin of Ashdown; four sisters, Betty Simmons, Ethel Tabler and Mary Cullen of Ashdown and Edith Hoover of Crossroads, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Madden Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ashdown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
