IDABL, Okla.—Jean Tapley, 86, of the Pollard Community, Okla., died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Tapley was born July 23, 1931, in the Harris Community, Okla. She was a social worker at Oklahoma Department of Human Services and a member of Haworth Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Tapley. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Joanie Tapley of Valliant, Okla., Jim and Chris Tapley of New Braunfels, Texas, and Tommy and Karen Tapley of the Pollard Community, Okla.; one daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Kenneth Hall of Fort Towson, Okla.; special friend and caregiver, Betty Havens of the Pollard Community; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Haworth Missionary Baptist Church, Haworth, with Ed Walker officiating. Burial will be in Pollard Cemetery under the direction of White Family Funeral Home.
