CARRIE HAWKINS

Carrie Mae Hawkins, 88, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas. Ms. Hawkins was born Nov. 11, 1929, in Marshall, Texas. She was employed with Day & Zimmerman. Survivors include two sisters, Helen Hawkins Collins of Texarkana and Margaret Hawkins Soils of Dallas; one brother and sister-in-law, Willie and Lillie Hawkins of Texarkana; and one special niece, Gabrielle Stinson. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at College Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Michael Mosby and Tommy Law officiating. Entombment will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
