MARY STRAWN

IDABEL, Okla.—Mary Jo Strawn, 90, of Idabel died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, in Idabel. Mrs. Strawn was born June 25, 1927, in Pollard community, Okla. She was formerly employed with Shoe Mart, Piggly Wiggle, the State Theater, and the Idabel Tag Agency and a member of United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reed Strawn Sr.; one son, Reed Strawn Jr.; and one granddaughter, Reida Cochran Sivard. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn Strawn and Perry Scott of Idabel; one sister, Sybil Cason of Killeen, Texas; one sister-in-law, Lillian Roach of California; one brother-in-law, Kim Strawn of Oregon; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Johnna Cochran and James Smith of Holly Creek, Okla.; one grandson-in-law and granddaughter-in-law, Ken and Lisa Sivard of Idabel; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Idabel First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Oscar Wilkie officiating. Burial will be in Denison Cemetery under direction of White Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
