ATLANTA, Texas—Lula Mae Chamblee, 91, of Atlanta died Monday, Feb. 10, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mr. Chamblee was born Sept. 15, 1926, in Lubbock, Texas. She was retired from Hanson Kickernick and a member of Atlanta Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Chamblee. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Wesley Voss of Atlanta; one sister, Jo Ann Tankersley of Bivins, Texas; three grandchildren and two spouses, Mike and Teresa Buckworth of Summerville, S.C., Lisa Byers of Bloomburg, Texas, and Keith and Jennifer Voss of Atlanta; two great-grandchildren, Ali Byers and Seth Buckworth; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Beech Creek Cemetery. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
