JULIA MOORE

ASHDOWN, Ark.—Julia Moore, 99, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018. Mrs. Moore was born Nov. 13, 1918. She was a former teacher at Texarkana Independent School District and co-owner of Moore Family Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Moore Sr. Services will be noon Saturday at Oak Street Baptist Church, Texarkana, Texas, with the Revs. L.B. George and Wendell Griffen officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church.
