Frances Cox Shipp

Frances Cox Shipp, 82 of Texarkana, TX passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017, in a Little Rock, AR hospital. She was born on January 30, 1935, in Lewisville, AR. Mrs. Shipp was a member of Hampton Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Clyde W. Shipp of Texarkana, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Clyde V. and Teresa Shipp of Texarkana, TX; one daughter and son-in law, Brenda and Bobby Lockhart of Texarkana, TX; one sister, Dorette Forsyth of Texarkana, TX; five grandchildren, J.J. Lockhart, Alicia Graham, Chad Lockhart, Christopher Shipp and Rance Lockhart, six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Hampton Church of Christ with Jerry Monholland and Nick Blain officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home, Moores Lane. The family will be at 5010 Woodgate, Texarkana, TX. Family visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, January 1, 2018, at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane. Memorials can be made to Hampton Church of Christ's Dorcas House Ministries.
