ORVILLE BROWN

ATLANTA, Texas—Orville Brown, 89, of Atlanta died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mr. Brown was born Aug. 9, 1928, in Fond Du Lac, Wis. He was retired owner of Brown's Appliance, a member of Smyrna Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Brown; and one son, Jimmy Brown. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Arvid Bylander of Turtle Lake, Wis.; one son, Dennis Brown; three brothers, Henry Brown, Fred Brown and Franklin Brown of Fond Du Lac; one sister, Lois Jewson of Fond Du Lac; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at Smyrna Cemetery with Gene Parker officiating under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
