ETHEL JACKSON

Ethel Mae Jackson, 84, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017. Ms. Jackson was born March 18, 1933, in Garland, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of College Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Jackson. Survivors include two sons, Vernon "David" Mitchell of Ashdown, Ark., and Timothy Jackson of Little Rock; two daughters, Twyla Edens and Rontina Solomon of Texarkana, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be noon today at Lyles Funeral Home with Logan Wesley officiating. Burial will be in Wynn Cemetery, Garland, Ark. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to noon today at the funeral home.
