STAMPS, Ark.— Dorothy P. Mitchell, 92, of Stamps died Monday, Jan. 15, 2018. Mrs. Mitchell was born Jan. 7, 1926. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Mitchell. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Junior Johnson of Stamps; two grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Chad Austin and Brittany Johnson of Hot Springs, Ark., and Christopher Alexander and Bridget Johnson of Austin; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Home with Dennis Cole officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
