WILMA THOMAS

NASHVILLE, Ark.—Wilma Jean Thomas, 83, of Nashville died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, in Nashville. Mrs. Thomas was born June 16, 1934, in Horatio, Ark. She was a retired teacher with Little Red School and a member of First Baptist Church, Nashville. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Brooks Thomas in 1975 and Jack Sharp in 2015; two sons, Boyd Thomas and Marc Thomas; and one grandson, Jeff Thomas. Survivors include four children, Ramona Sullivan, Dawanda Schwope and Zane Thomas of Nashville and Theresa Humphry of Delight, Ark.; five siblings, J.M. Poole of The Woodlands, Texas, Wes Poole of Hot Springs, Ark., Wayne Poole of Amarillo, Texas, Lyndon Poole of Benton, Ark., and Janice Hudspeth of Clovis, N.M.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Restland Memorial Park with David Blasé officiating. Burial will be under direction of Nashville Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
