WAYNE SCHAEFFER

Wayne Schaeffer, 66, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at his home. Mr. Schaeffer was born Sept. 26, 1951, in Fort Hood, Texas. He was a master plumber with Ted Thammert and a member of First Baptist Church, Moores Lane. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Schaeffer of Texarkana; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Kevin and Alison Schaeffer of Arab, Ala., and Nathan Schaeffer of Texarkana; three brothers, Steve Schaeffer, Ricky Schaeffer and Keith Schaeffer; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at East Funeral Home, Downtown, with the Rev. John Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Sylvernio Cemetery.
