Arthena Wanda "Johnnie" Johnson, 88, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Johnson was born Jan. 30, 1929, in Richwood, W.Va. She was a retired receiving clerk at Walmart and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Johnson; one son, Christopher Ray Johnson; one daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Johnson; and a grandson, Nathan Green. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Richard Stone, Karen and John "Buddy" Foster and Mary Ann and Wayne Green; one brother, Thomas Earp; one sister, Phyllis Krysiak; 15 grandchildren; 19-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shiloh Cemetery with the Revs. Wes Dean and Todd Reed officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church. Online registration is at texarkanafuneralhome.com.
