ELAINE DENMON

Elaine Towns Denmon, 64, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, June 26, 2018, in Texarkana. Mrs. Denmon was born Feb. 2, 1954, in Birmingham, Ala. She was a teacher with Texarkana Arkansas School District and a member of Arkansas Education Association and Polly Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Joe Denmon of Texarkana; two daughters, Miyoka Robinson of Atlanta, Ga., and Naschell Dixon of Houston; two brothers, Freddie Towns of Columbus, Tenn., and Richard Towns of Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Veronica Black of Diana, Texas; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Reginald G. Reid officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Lyles Funeral Home.
