Estell F. McClain

Estell F. McClain, age 95, of Texarkana, Arkansas died June 30, 2018 in a local facility. She was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma and has been a resident of Texarkana, Arkansas for the last 70 years. She was a homemaker and caregiver for the sick, needy and elderly. She was an active member of County Avenue Baptist Church now Northern Hills Baptist Church until she was unable to attend regularly. She loved to work in her yard. She was a mother of two sons and two daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm McClain, and her two sons, John Richard McClain and Kenneth Ray McClain. Ms. McClain is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Pam McClain of Texarkana, Arkansas and Jean Voltz and Ronny Voltz of Texarkana, Texas. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Sunday, at Texarkana Funeral Home, 3515 Texas Blvd., Texarkana, Texas. The memorial service for Ms. McClain will be at 10:00 A.M., July 2, 2018, at Northern Hills Baptist Church with Dr. Roger Copeland officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
