LaDerrick Deshun Franklin, 28, of Hooks, Texas, died Friday, June 15, 2018, in Texarkana, Ark. Mr. Franklin was born Nov. 3, 1989, in Texarkana, Texas. Survivors include his mother, Joe Ann Franklin of Hooks, TX, his father, Billy Martin, Jr. of Texarkana, TX, three brothers, Ira Franklin of Texarkana, Christopher Franklin of Baton Rouge and Derrick Martin of New Boston, Texas; three sisters, Katrina Turner of Dallas and Kelley Martin and Shay Martin of New Boston; one special friend, Michelle Cheatham of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Deliverance Temple COGIC with Superintendent Rockridge Hannah officiating under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
