Dorothy Ricks

Dorothy "Bea" Ricks, 95, of Lockesburg, AR, passed away July, 5, 2018. Mrs. Ricks was born in Lockesburg, AR, on August, 18, 1922, to William and Myrtle Terry. She was a homemaker and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ricks; one son, Edward Gabbard; one brother, L.C. Terry; and one sister-in-law, LaVerne Corbell. Mrs. Ricks is survived by one son and daughter-in law, Jerry and Patricia Gabbard of Huntsville, TX; one daughter, Jan Coon of Nashville, AR; two sisters, Jean Wilkerson of Broaddus, TX, and Pat Wulf of Nederland, TX; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be Monday, July 9 at 10 a.m. at Wrights Chapel Cemetery in Lockesburg, AR, with Rev. Larry Fry officiating. Online registration at MaddenFuneralHome Service.com.
