HOPE, Ark.—Leroy Walker, 69, of Hope died Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Mr. Walker was born Feb. 24, 1949, in McCaskill, Ark. He was formerly employed with Tyson Foods Inc. and a Vietnam War Marines veteran. Survivors include his wife, Helen; three children, Sedrick of Little Rock, Tiffany Bones of Bryant, Ark., and Tammie Alexander of Memphis, Tenn.; four brothers, Tilman of Augusta, Ga., Willie of Hope, William of Tupelo, Miss., and Wilbert of Emmett, Ark.; five sisters, Flossie Bishop, Linda Walker and Loretta Hicks of Hope, Evelyn of Chico, Calif., and Pamela of Sanford, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Rising Star Baptist Church. Burial will be in Scott's Memorials Gardens, Perrytown, Ark., under direction of Hicks Funeral Home. The body may be viewed 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. today with visitation 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
