ITALO FORTE

Italo Forte, 87, of Texarkana, Ark., died Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at his home. Mr. Forte was born Sept. 13, 1930, in Texarkana. He was retired from REA Electric Coop., a 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus, a member of St. Edward Catholic Church and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Frances Forte. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Forte of Texarkana; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Margaret Forte and Richard and Susan Forte of Texarkana and Mark and Doris Forte of Magnolia, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Tommy Goodrum of Texarkana; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Mass services will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Edward Catholic Church with the Rev. Paul Worm and Deacon David Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown. Rosary will be 6 p.m. today with visitation following at the funeral home.
