HOPE, Ark.—Odell Armstrong, 69, of Nashville, Ark., died Tuesday, July 10, 2018, in a Hot Springs, Ark., hospital. Mr. Armstrong was born Sept. 3, 1948, in McCaskill, Ark. He was employed with Mountainaire Hatchery, formerly employed with General Motors, Flint, Mich., and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, McCaskill. Survivors include his wife, Linda Wynn of Nashville; three daughters, Tenesha Armstrong of Flint, Syecha Armstrong of Little Rock and Diedra Jefferson of Nashville; five sons, Antonio Dennis of Little Rock, Odell Armstrong Jr., Derrick DaSean Armstrong and Deon Latrell Armstrong of Flint and Tommy Wynn of Nashville; three brothers, L.V. Armstrong and John Wayne Armstrong of Washington, Ark., and Charles Wayne Armstrong of Nashville; one sister, Doris Armstrong of Conway, Ark.; 21 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Rising Star Baptist Church. Burial will be in Shorter Chapel Cemetery, Blevins, Ark., under direction of Hicks Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
