Christopher R. Griffin

May 20, 1981 - May 5, 2018 Chris died on May 5, 2018. He lived in the St. Petersburg/Clearwater, Florida area for nearly 20 years. Left behind are Shirley Smith, mother, of Conroe, TX,; Jimmy C. Griffin, father of Fouke, AR; brothers, Clinton Brown of Texarkana, AR and Clayton Shane Griffin of Rapid City, S.D. He had numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. During his life in Florida he excelled as a top salesman in energy. The past three years he worked a Cross Fit program and just reached his goals through commitment and perseverance. He was known by many as a "best friend," "brother" and by a few as "godfather." He leaves behind a legacy of humility, confidence, love for life and a "peacemaker," who was there for all who knew him. Services were held in May to celebrate the life of Chris Griffin by those who loved him in Clearwater and Texarkana. For those who knew and loved Chris now have an empty place in our hearts where he will always be missed.
