Willard Gierth

HOPE, Ark.—Willard Edward Gierth, 86, of Prescott, Ark., died Sunday, June 3, 2018. Mr. Gierth was born Feb. 23, 1932, in Three Rivers, Texas. He was a farmer, cattle rancher and member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include one brother, Roy Lee Gierth of Prescott; two sisters, Helen Hammock and Joylyn Putz of Hope; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Memory Gardens Cemetery under direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
