James Reeves

NAPLES, Texas—James Blanton Reeves, 68, of Omaha, Texas, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at his home. Mr. Reeves was born Sept. 16, 1949, in Thomaston, Ga. He was retired from Century Link and GTE, former member of Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce, Washington, a Little League baseball coach, attended Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Omaha, and an Army Reserves veteran. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Reeves of Omaha; two sons and daughters-in-law, James M. and JoAnn Reeves of San Antonio and Steven Reeves and Patricia Houlditch; one daughter and son-in-law, April and Michael Wolanek of Arlington, Wash.; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Cheryl Reeves of Lenoir, N.C.; one aunt, Barbara York of Thomaston, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Harrison Funeral Home with Bryan Peek, Jerry Reeves and Mike Amerson officiating. Online registration is at harrisonfuneralhome.com.
