DE QUEEN, Ark.—Ted Darwin Pumphrey, 71, of De Queen died Friday, June 8, 2018, at his home. Mr. Pumphrey was born July 18, 1946, in Warren, Ark. He was formerly employed with Verizon, a member of De Queen Church of Christ and an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Vicki Collins Pumphrey of De Queen; two daughters and sons-in-law, Faith and Tommy Klitz of Horatio, Ark., and Melissa and Chris Suttle of De Queen; one sister, Janette Pumphrey of De Queen; two cousins, Dennis Gomer and Robert gomer; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Thursday at De Queen Church of Christ with Toney Stowers officiating under direction of Chandler Funeral Home. Online registration is at chandlerfuneral.com.
