Nancy Hampton

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Nancy Hampton, 66, of Mount Pleasant, Texas, died Friday, June 15, 2018, in a Mount Pleasant hospital. Mrs. Hampton was born Feb. 5, 1952, in Turkey, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Hampton; and two children, Terrence Hampton and Jennifer Hampton. Survivors include two sisters and one brother-in-law, Shirley and the Rev. Jerry Nickerson of Bogata, Texas, and Libby Redd of Paris, Texas; and a number of other relatives. Services will be noon Wednesday at Citizens Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy R. Smith Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Turner Cemetery, Fulbright, Texas. Online registration is at citizensfuneralhome.com.
