GLENDA MINYARD

Glenda Fay Minyard, 65, of Ashdown, AR, died June 18, 2018, in Texarkana, TX. Mrs. Minyard was born January 14, 1953, in Ashdown, AR, to Ervin and Ellen Shelly. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Ashdown, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Ellen Shelly, and one brother, Earnest Shelly, Sr. Survivors include one daughter, Bobbie Jo Bertling of Ashdown, AR; two sons, John Phelps, Sr. of Ashdown, AR and Christopher Curtis of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; three brothers, Eugene Shelly of Lone Star, TX, Boyd Shelly of Ashdown, AR, and Henry Shelly of Ironton, Missouri; one sister, Barbara Karr of Gurdon, AR; seven grandchildren. J.J., Melanie, Zack, Aaliyah, Ty Ty, Parker, and Cyson; and special friend, Roadrunner. Services will be at 2:00 on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Church of the Nazarene in Ashdown, AR. with Bill Segur officiating. Burial will be at Wright's Chapel Cemetery in Cowlingsville, AR. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown, AR.
