Catherine Williams

Catherine Bann Williams, 100, of Texarkana, Ark., died Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Williams was born Sept. 20, 1917, in Texarkana. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. William R. Williams Jr. Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law, John and Vickie Williams of Tyler, Texas, Bann Williams of Miami Shores, Fla., and Ross Williams of Texarkana; three daughters and one son-in-law, Erin Williams of San Antonio, Texas, Eileen Williams of Texarkana and Ann Williams and Don Purtle of Fayetteville, Ark.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Edward Catholic Church with the Rev. James West and David Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Edward Building Fund.
