EDGAR COPELAND

Edgar Eugene Copeland, 88, of Wake Village, Texas, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018, in a local hospital. Mr. Copeland was born March 27, 1930 in Nashville, Ark. He was a retired Baptist minister. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jean Copeland; one daughter, Jeanie Copeland; and one son, Joe Copeland. Survivors include one daughter, Joy Hutchison of Texarkana; one son, Jerry Copeland of Frisco, Texas; three grandchildren, Connor Copeland, Aubrey Copeland and Casey Copeland; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Mindy Zwirn officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Chapelwood United Methodist Church.
