SUE McJUNKINS

Jennia Sue McJunkins of Texarkana, AR departed this life June 26, 2018. She was born in 1941 in Idabel, OK to Otho and Lillie Ray, and later raised by a loving step-father, Hal Locke. Sue was an immaculate homemaker, decorator, talented seamstress and doll maker, but most of all, a faithful wife, devoted mother, and member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by all 3 of her parents and a brother, Bobby Ray of Texarkana, AR. She is survived by her husband Samuel Foster McJunkins Jr., one daughter and son-in-law, Sindy and William Lunsford of Texarkana, AR, two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Ginger McJunkins of Houston, TX and Sam III and Leah McJunkins of Genoa, AR. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Reese Lunsford, Bradley, Zack, Jennia, and Katie McJunkins, whom she loved dearly, her sister-in-law, Linda Sandlin Ray, a multitude of friends, cousins, and many more she graciously welcomed into her home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas with Larry Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
