IMOGENE ROYSTON

HOPE, Ark.—Imogene Nolen Royston, 97, of Hope died Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Royston was born Sept. 18, 1920, in Blevins, Ark. She was a homemaker, former Assistant Postmaster for the Blevins Post Office, formerly employed with the 616th Air Corp Detachment and a member of First Baptist Church, Hope. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grandison D. "Buster" Royston Jr.; and one grandson, Wade Scruggs. Survivors include one son, Grandison D. Royston IV of Coal Hill, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Margie Royston and Joe Scruggs of Jenks, Okla.; two grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Todd and Beth Scruggs of Jenks and Guy and Kristie Royston of Hot Springs; two great-grandchildren, Maggie Scruggs and Andrew Scruggs of Jenks; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Hope, with Daniel Bramlett officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
