PAUL CAVER

Paul David Caver, 82, of Texarkana, Ark., died Wednesday, March 7, 2018, in a local hospital. Mr. Caver was born Dec. 19, 1935, in Texarkana. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a former teacher, principal and school board member with Texarkana Arkansas School District, a deacon and member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and a Korean War Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Clarice Short Caver of Texarkana; one daughter, Carol Caver Miller of Texarkana; one son, Paul David Caver Jr. of Texarkana; one sister and brother-in-law, Helen Caver and Henry Barkman of Texarkana; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Mary Beck Caver of Denison, Texas; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Dr. David Holder officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.
