ETHEL McDONALD-JONES

MAGNOLIA, Ark.—Ethel McDonald-Jones, 70, of Lewisville, Ark., died Sunday, March 18, 2018. Mrs. McDonald-Jones was born March 17, 1948, in Chicago. She was a homemaker, a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Summit, Ill., and attended Church of God In Christ. She was preceded in death by one son, Ivan. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Darin and Shun Jones of Lewisville; one daughter and son-in-law, Kerry and Kenney Bailey of Texarkana; four sisters, Gerdine McDonald, Thelma Tuck, Vanessa McDonald and Glenda Thompson of Summit; two brothers, Otha B. Roy and Ricky McDonald of Summit; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church, Lewisville, with the Rev. Roderick Trotter officiating. Burial will be in Wise Cemetery under direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home. Visitation will be noon to 4:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
