HOPE, Ark.—James Hicks, 76, of Columbus, Ark., died Saturday, March 24, 2018, at his home. Mr. Hicks was born Jan. 22, 1942, in Alton, Ill. He was retired from Domtar Papermill and a Methodist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Hicks. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Reanna and John Key and Cecelia Hicks and special friend Rick Luper of Columbus; one grandson, Richard Key; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Columbus Cemetery with the Rev. Keenan Williams officiating. Burial will be under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
