JUDY BASSETT

Judy "MeMa" Bassett, 84, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018, in a local hospice. Mrs. Bassett was born Jan. 8, 1934, in Pueblo, Colo. She was a homemaker and member of Trinity Pentecostal Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Bassett. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Dona and Rick Skaggs of Pueblo and Tami Bassett of Texarkana; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Mike and Jamie Bassett of Texarkana and Russell and Renee' Bassett of Hot Springs, Ark.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Pueblo. Local arrangements are under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
