PEARL MALARDIER

HOPE, Ark.—Pearl Malardier, 91, of Spring Hill, Ark., died Sunday, March 25, 2018, in Hope. Mrs. Malardier was born Dec. 27, 1926, in Buckner, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Church of Christ, Hope. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pierre Malardier; one daughter, Sandra Ward Purtle; one grandson, Brent Malardier; and one great-grandson, Tyler Purtle. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Shawnda Malardier of Spring Hill; one brother and sister-in-law, George E. Jr. and Nancy Madlock of Pine Bluff, Ark.; one sister, Viola Laha of The Woodlands, Texas; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Holly Springs Cemetery, Spring Hill, with Harold Freeman officiating. Burial will be under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
