W.H. "Buddy" McFaul, Jr., 86, of Queen City, Texas, died Friday, May 4, 2018 at his home. Mr. McFaul was born Sept. 13, 1931 in Texarkana, Texas. He was a retired captain with the Texarkana, Texas, Fire Department and a Korean War Army veteran. He was preceded in death by a wife, Margie Jean McFaul. Survivors include his wife, Mary Sewell McFaul of Queen City; two sons, Keith McFaul and Reggie McFaul of Texarkana; three stepdaughters, Cathy Missildine and Mary Ann Eason of Texarkana and Karen Marshall of Nashville, Ark.; two stepsons, Mike Sewell and Jeff Sewell of Texarkana; one sister, Bobbe Womack of Fayetteville, Ark.; five grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane, with the Rev. Larry Sims officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity. Online registration is at eastfuneralhomes.com.
