Loretta Gilder

Loretta Ann Gunter Gilder, 77, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Gilder was born Dec. 16, 1940, in Monroe, La. She was a retired seamstress and a member of First Assembly of God in Malvern, Ark. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, including Melissa West and Doug Taylor of Texarkana; four sisters, Sandra Huffy of Kilburn, La., Chris Johnson of Pioneer, La., Mickey Obenoskey of Malvern and Judy Webb of Monroe; four grandchildren, Lori Dillard and Cody Dillard of Allen, Texas, and Sarah Deaton and Mark Deaton of Quinlan, Texas; and six great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Friday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Revs. Jimmy Bobo and Tony Burrows officiating. Online registration is at texarkanafuneralhome.com.
