Miriam Jo Feinberg "M.J." of Colorado Springs died March 28th of cancer. M.J. was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Morris and Alline Benkovitz. She attended Vanderbilt University were she meet Stern, her future husband. After graduation, the two lived shortly in Texarkana, Arkansas Stern's hometown and from there, moved to Ithaca, New York while he attended Cornell. They moved back to Texarkana and later Corpus Christi, Texas where Stern worked in the Family business otherwise known as the Sandy Shores. Here Miriam became active in the Junior League and the local Bridge Club. After twenty years of raising three children and the worst weather possible for her hair, they sold the family business and moved to Colorado Springs. This move was supposed to be a summer home but they never came back. M.J. fell in love with the area and settled into a wonderful life of playing bridge, the occasional trip with Stern and forever shopping for a deal. She truly enjoyed her last years in her new home and loved having her close friends the "Jolly Girls" to play bridge with on any given day. M.J. is survived by her children Jeffery Feinberg and wife Dana, Douglas Feinberg and wife Rhonda, Elizabeth Charley and husband Alan, sister Anne Magee and grandchildren Zoe Feinberg, Shelby Feinberg, Ben Charley and Madison Charley.
