MELBA BRIAN

Melba Joy Brian, 83, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at a local hospital. Mrs. Brian was born Dec. 9, 1934, in Big Sandy, Texas. She was a retired secretary and a Christian. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Letitia Heflin. Survivors include her husband, Floyd Brian of Texarkana; one daughter, Jackie Richardson of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Connie Brian of Texarkana; one brother, Elbie Roy Harris of Texarkana; five grandchildren, Christy Allen, Jason Brian, Brad Wilson, Kandice Heflin and Cody Heflin; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Rondo Memorial Park with the Rev. Tim Montgomery officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
