Tony Wayne Philyaw

Tony Wayne Philyaw, 58, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, May 13, 2018, at a local hospital. Mr. Philyaw was born Nov. 18, 1959, in Texarkana. He was a brick mason and a Christian. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Madison; and one great-grandchild, Meredith. Survivors include his wife, Judy Philyaw of Texarkana; one daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Amanda Philyaw and Lucas Perez of Little Rock, Ark.; four stepsons, Christopher Clark, Thomas Clark, Dale Wayne Clark and Brian Clark; his mother, Joretta Philyaw of Texarkana; two sisters, Denise Grey of Genoa, Ark. and Rita Haworth of Texarkana; 11 grandchildren and a number of other relatives. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Cemetery.
