ATLANTA, Texas—Ralph C. Rodgers Jr., 75, died Thursday, May 17, 2018, in Atlanta. Mr. Rodgers was born Jan. 2, 1943, in Hot Springs, Ark. He was formerly employed at Pirelli Cable Company, a truck driver, a member of Christian Fellowship Church, Queen City, Texas, and an Air Force and National Guard veteran Survivors include his wife, Sharon Kay Doss Rodgers of Queen City; one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Paula Rodgers of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and John Young of Atlanta and Michelle and Philip Poteete of Queen City, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Martha Rodgers of Hot Springs, Ark.; seven grandchildren; one great-granchild; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Christian Fellowship Church with Ben Aguirre officiating. Burial will be in Bethsaida 'Y' Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Memorials may be made to Ralph Rodgers' family for funeral expenses. Online registraion is at hannerfuneralservice.com.
